New Policy
regarding NSF checks implemented
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the Charter
Township of Hampton Board of Trustees, that the following policy be
adopted effective immediately:
That in the event that the Charter Township of
Hampton is given a negotiable instrument, be it check, draft, warrant,
or otherwise, and such instrument after deposit or presentment by the
Township, is dishonored for any reason, including, but not limited to,
being a non-sufficient funds check or draft, the issuer or payer of the
negotiable instrument shall be responsible to pay to or reimburse the
Township, for any direct expense incurred by the Township by way of fee
charged to the Township by its banking institution, together with a
penalty which is equivalent to $25.00 or 5% of the amount of the check,
draft, warrant, or negotiable instrument, whichever is greater, tendered
to the Township.

Transfer Station

2010 Transfer
Station Permits will be
available December 1 with a $30 annual
fee for the 2010 Permit,
ONLY HAMPTON TWP
RESIDENTS
WILL BE ALLOWED TO
RECYCLE.
Residents are asked not to place Styrofoam
in the recycle bins at
the Transfer Station.
The Township will be fined and the
recycling service discontinued. Transfer Station Card is required, Home owners please obtain it at the Township Administrative Office
