On May 22, 2006, at the regular Board of Trustees meeting,Chief Gerald  Runde presented citations to Officers Nicholas Pletzke, Lyle Esterhai Jr., Brian Dansereau, Thomas Janczewski (absent), and Dave Smith (absent) in recognition of outstanding service for the work they did in their completed police investigations.

An award will also be presented to Robert Rase, on June 12, for his assistance in stopping a purse snatcher at Meijer's.
