On November 9, 2009, at the Hampton Township Board of Trustees meeting, proposed Ordinance 36A-13, "Wind Energy Ordinance", was introduced.
On November 23, 2009, The Board adopted the Wind Energy Ordinance. It became effective on December 21, 2009.
