Hampton Township's Best Kept Secret

is getting a new look!

The Hampton Township Senior Citizen Center is getting a new look. The Township DPW has been busy over the past few weeks painting the exterior of the building and removing shrubs.

New landscaping was added to complete the look.

Beginning in January of 2008 the DPW started to update the interior of the building.

Old ceiling tiles were removed and replaced, the paneled walls were cleaned, baseboard was replaced, and the walls were painted.

New windows were installed.

Jim Hugo and Wayne Beckrow of the DPW are working on the updating projects in the Senior Building.

Additional work to be completed includes:

New stove hoods in the kitchen

New kitchen counter tops

Kitchen Paint

During the remodeling, the Senior Dinning has been moved to the Bar Room in the Township Hall.

Looking to get off the couch?  Looking for some fun and entertainment?  The Hampton Senior Center may be just what you are looking for!  The Center offers a variety of activities designed to get those aged 60 and over out of the house.

All area senior citizens are invited to stop in and join in the fun, fellowship and activities. The Center is located at 801 W. Center Road, behind the Hampton Township Hall and is open Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m and there are activities that take place daily.  Meal reservations must be made at least one day in advance..

Lunch is served everyday at 12:00 noon and dinner is served everyday at 5:00 p.m.. We offer delicious meals at a fraction of the cost of going out to a restaurant. There is a suggested donation of $2.00 for each meal served and you get your choice of the hot entree, the salad of the week or the sandwich of the week.
