Hampton Charter Township provides building, plumbing, mechanical and electrical inspection services under the authority of Act 230, Public Acts of 1972, as amended, commonly known as the “State Construction Code Act of 1972.  Township Office Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m..  Inspections are scheduled by appointment.

The Building Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Mechanical Inspector and Electrical Inspector do not have regular office hours.  Inspections are scheduled by appointment.

The Township enforces the State Building, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Codes as promulgated and adopted by the Bureau of Construction Codes.
